Making Strides
We are pleased to announce a three-year pilot project to support the establishment of a Safe and Welcoming Sport Program for Alberta. Funding is being provided by Sport, Physical Activity and Recreation Branch (SPAR).
Our focus is to bring together and represent a collective voice for sport in Alberta.
We are working transparently and collaboratively with key contributors at local, provincial, and national levels to bring a sector-led leadership model to and for the Alberta organized sport community.
All Albertans, regardless of their participation, benefit from sport and active recreation opportunities. Participation has proven to strengthen community connections and pride, provide economic impact to communities, and have a positive impact on youth education and reduction in youth anti-social behaviour.
